There are a number of situations where it is valuable to be able to export a list of all the members in a community. For example, you want to invite all the community members to an event. With the community export feature you can with ease export the list of all the members in a community.

Who can access, and where is it

If you are a SWOOP Admin you have the ability to perform an export of a community. You'll find it in the Admin / Data Export section of SWOOP:

All you need to do is to paste the URL to the community, and click 'Export'. 

What's in the export file

The export file will include:

• ID (the Viva Engage ID of the community member)
• Email 
• Name
• State (active or inactive)
• Guest (true or false)

Difference between Community Export and the Community Dashboard

The Community Export feature is unique as it connects directly through to Viva Engage and pulls information about community membership in real-time. The Community Dashboard in SWOOP is relying on the data collected from Viva Engage using SWOOP's data miner so may be a little different. Also, Community Export will include the members at the time you click 'Export' where as the Community Membership numbers in SWOOP takes into account who has been a member during the date-range you have selected.
