What is the Quality Score
The Quality Score in SWOOP for SharePoint assesses the overall quality of a page based on several key factors. It is one of the three components that contribute to the Health Score of a page, alongside Experience and Engagement.
The Quality Score is determined by evaluating:
- Spelling Errors: The number of spelling mistakes present on the page. Pages with no spelling errors will score higher.
- Broken Links: The presence of any broken links on the page. Similar to spelling errors, pages without broken links will achieve a better score.
- Content Age: The age of the content since it was last updated. Content that is regularly updated is considered more reliable and trustworthy. The scoring for content age is categorized as follows:
- Under 3 months: Great
- 3-6 months: Good
- 6-12 months: OK
- Over 12 months: Poor
The Quality Score is crucial because it reflects the reliability and trustworthiness of the content on your SharePoint pages. A higher Quality Score indicates that users are more likely to find the information accurate and up-to-date, which can enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
How to use the Quality Score
By monitoring and improving the Quality Score, organizations can ensure that their SharePoint content remains relevant and valuable to users.
