Welcome to episode 6 of our SWOOP Hack series where we show you some easy tips, tricks, and shortcuts to finding the information you’re looking for in your SWOOP dashboard.
Please note, this feature is only available to SWOOP admins. In this episode we’re going to run through how to access our Nudge Export feature and also how to use it, including an example from one our SWOOP customers, Humana.
The first thing you may ask is; what is a nudge? To put it simply, we have built actions and recommendations into SWOOP for the purpose of driving behavioural change. These are specific to the individual depending on your balance and volume of interactions.
Humana, a major US health insurer, are doing fantastic things with the Nudge Export. They are currently using the nudges to send targeted emails to employees. First, they filter the export to those who receive the same nudge; For example; the nudge to make a new post. You can then create a targeted campaign for those individuals in order to drive those more collaborative behaviours. For some of the 65,000 staff at Humana, they will receive kudos and recognition when filtering the nudges; for others it’s about giving them the next step.
This lines up with Humana’s goal to reduce the number of ‘Observers’ in their network which they are also driving with small incentives including Amazon gift cards, FitBits, movie tickets, and workout gear; anything related the health and wellness is their approach.
It’s all about targeting the right people, rewarding great engagement, and helping those with specific tips and actions on how they be more collaborative.
