Welcome to episode 2 of our SWOOP Hack series where we show you some easy tips, tricks and shortcuts to finding the information you’re looking for in your SWOOP dashboard.
The feature covered in this tutorial is available to those with admin permissions to access individual benchmarking in your SWOOP dashboard. If you think this tool would be of interest, please reach out to your organisation’s SWOOP administrator.
A lot of SWOOP customers use the comparison feature on the personal dashboard to benchmark senior leadership teams. To create smaller lists of individuals to compare, you simply type in the names of the users one-by-one. For larger groups of people, we have a feature that allows you to upload a CSV file to speed up the process.
The first thing you will need to do is to create a list of email addresses based on the users you want to benchmark. Your list should look something like this, just a single column with the user’s emails. Also ensure you save the list as a CSV file.
In your SWOOP dashboard, navigate to your personal dashboard and head to the right hand side fly-out menu. In the comparison section, click to add a new benchmarking list, name your list, then upload the CSV file you have just created.
An alert message will let you know how many users on your list uploaded successfully. If any emails are not recognised by SWOOP, it will also tell you the names of those who were not successfully added.
Click 'OK', ensure your list is selected, then click 'OK' again and scroll to the bottom of your dashboard. This is where your benchmarking list will show.
This episode also comes with a bonus SWOOP hack for those who need to deep dive into the activity of an individual. In your benchmarking table, you will notice the names of the users are hyperlinked. When you click on the name, it will take you directly to their personal dashboard.
And that’s it! Thanks for watching.
