How to change the default user attribute used by SWOOP (Workplace)

Follow these instructions when you make several user attributes available to SWOOP and you then want to change the default value.

Step-by-step guide

You need to be a Workplace Admin to be able to perform these steps. Alternatively, a Workplace Admin must have made you a SWOOP admin.

1. Log on to the SWOOP.
2. Click on the 'Admin' link in the bottom left fly-out menu. If you can't see this link you are not a Workplace Admin / SWOOP admin
3. Under 'Application Settings', select the relevant attribute from the dropdown of available attributes.

What impact will it have?

When you change the default value it will impact any report on SWOOP which is using this. For example, the Cross-Enterprise Collaboration report on the Enterprise, Group and Segment dashboards. The legend for the Network Map on the Personal dashboard will also change.
