SWOOP analyses meta-data for all public and private messages. However, depending on the context we exclude private messages.
(A message is classified as private if it was posted in a private or secret group, or if the group privacy is changed to private or secret.)
Private messages are included in the following calculations everywhere in SWOOP:
- High level usage statistics
- User Activity
- Public/Private Messages
- Response Rate
- Two-Way Relationships
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Hot Topics
Private messages are excluded from the Most Engaging Posts reports on the Enterprise, Topic and Segments dashboard. Messages posted in a private group will appear in the Most Engaging Posts report on the Group dashboard for the relevant group. It will also appear in the Most Engaging Posts report on the poster's Personal dashboard.
