A big month with nearly 100 items released. We've been working on a range of items, with the highlights being our Dr SWOOP AI chatbot and our forecast reporting for Viva Engage posts.
Dr SWOOP is a chatbot that uses our benchmarking research to provide insights and answers for you. If you give it some of the measures you have in your reports, it can look at how these stack up and what ways there are to improve. It can be enabled from the administration panel in the SWOOP product.
The forecast report looks at the posts made in the last 24 hours and lists them in the likelihood they will "go viral". You are likely to see posts listed in this report to feature in the most engage posts report, so can give an early indication of posts to keep an eye on.
We've also adjusted our quality score in SWOOP for SharePoint to account for content that has missing editors. This means content that was last modified by someone who leaves your organisation will impact the quality score.
Here's all the major updates:
Update | Platform | Information | Updated |
Predicting 'viral' posts | Workplace, Viva Engage | A new report called "Forecast" will show new posts (posted in the last day) that SWOOP is predicting will get relatively more engagement from more people.
Addition of missing editors to quality score in SWOOP for SharePoint |
SharePoint |
We've adjusted the quality score in SWOOP for SharePoint to reflect if a page has a missing editor. Where the last person to modify a page has left the organisation, it will impact on the quality score. If the person who create the page is still in the organisation, the impact on the quality score is lower than if both are missing.
Fix to user subscriptions for Enterprise reports |
All |
We've fixed an issue with our report subscription service so you can now select reports from the enterprise dashboards.
More support for Collaboration Habits in M365 | M365 | We've updated the system to link through to more details on how you can understand and improve your M365 collaboration habits. When expanding the "more details" on a particular habit, any support articles we have will now be displayed in the details.
Update to SWOOP for Teams persona interaction level | Teams | We've update the interaction level calculation in SWOOP for Teams so it more accurate reflects the level of interaction in the scoring.
Sites can now be deselected. | SharePoint | As per title
Dr SWOOP Admin control | All | With the launch of Dr SWOOP, we have made an admin function, under the dashboard tab to be able to restrict who can access Dr SWOOP. You can make it available to all, restrict it to SWOOP Admins only, or remove it from all users. The default setting is Dr SWOOP is removed.
Dr SWOOP chatbot now available | All | Dr SWOOP is our chatbot to help with understanding your SWOOP scores and give guidance on how to improve them. This first release provides a link to the Dr SWOOP as a small Owl icon in the bottom right of the screen. Clicking this will open the chat interface so you can ask about ways to improve, or give Dr SWOOP some of your analytics and see how they stack up against our benchmarking and research.
Improvements to URLs | All | We've improved our URLs so that they reference where needed the time period for reports meaning when sharing a link it will give the last 30 days (or whichever period is selected) so the link will always show the period relative to the current date. Where a custom date range is selected, the URL will fix them, so sharing the URL will keep the same exact dates.
Updating the way we score pages with no accessible text in SWOOP for SharePoint | SharePoint | We've made a change so any pages that only contain summary type webparts are now scored as a dash rather than a zero. The reason is for the summary webparts we are not able to access the text displayed within them, and so can't calculate a health score for them.
Correction to access control logs | All | We've corrected an issue so that any applied changes to access control in the admin area is immediately reflected in access control log.
Export a list of all the quality issues from SWOOP for SharePoint. | SharePoint | For those with SWOOP admin access you can now export a list of all the content with quality issues. |
