We've had a focus over the end of 2023 and into 2024 on quality and as a result have tidied up a number of bugs across our products.
We've also been giving a lot of attention to the administration area on our products. We've released a major update for the admin area, so it more closely aligns with the rest of the product dashboards, and have made sure related settings are grouped together in clear 'cards' within the screens. We've also added some clear confirmation prompts, so you know what you've updated has been applied.
In SWOOP for SharePoint we've done some work to include files and news items into the content dashboard search, and add a function that clearly shows the errors on a content page that contribute to a low quality score. Simply click on the spelling errors or broken links from the health tab and see a list of the errors.
Here's all the major updates:
Update | Platform | Information | Updated |
Updated Admin area design | All | We've updated the admin interface across our products to make it easier to use. We've moved the navigation to the top to match the way our dashboards work, and we've broken up the pages so related admin functions are grouped together. | Jan-24 |
Additional Permission in SWOOP for SharePoint to disable Influential Editors report | SharePoint | We've added a permission in the admin section of SWOOP for SharePoint so you can allow or disable named people from seeing the influential editors report. We've also added the capability to sort the report by number of edits or reach. | Jan-24 |
Files, Pages and News available in the Content Dashboard search | SharePoint | We've added the capability to search pages, news items and files in the content dashboard in SWOOP for SharePoint. A search will return all the matching content against the title of the page or news item, or the file name for files. Selecting a file rather than a page or news item will limit the amount of information we can give, as health scores and time and tracking is not available for files |
