OpenID OKTA setup for SWOOP Workplace

Pre-requisites

The operator knows how to create an OKTA application.

Instruction

1. Create a new OKTA "App Integration" from the admin application function.
2. On the next screen specify
   • "OIDC - OpenID Connect" as the "Sign-in method",
   • "Web Application" as the "Application type".
3. On the next screen name and upload the logo as per your requirements.
4. Leaving all other fields with default values fill in the following:
   • Sign-in redirect URIs - https://oauth.swoopanalytics.com
   • Empty "Sign-out redirect URIs"
   • Click on "Create new Secret"

Parameters for SWOOP

Please send SWOOP the following information:

1. Client secret (suggest breaking in half and send by two channels).
2. Client ID
3. OKTA domain (a copy the URL at the top of the screen will do)

Notes for SWOOP Staff

Instance setup:

• Specify "Open ID Provider" as "Other"
• Specify "AuthOpenID" as https://<OKTADomain>/.well-known/openid-configuration

THE OKTA domain is the hostname from the URL in 3 above.
