The Sentiment by Time report in SWOOP for Viva Engage shows how the mood across your Enterprise, Segment, Topic, Thread or Community is developing over time. You can even see your own flow of sentiment over time on the Personal dashboard. Sentiment is determined for each sentence and then aggregated to show the overall sentiment scores for a period of time.
To zoom in on a particular time period, click and drag to highlight the relevant period. This will allow you to deep-dive into any interesting peaks and troughs in overall sentiment. For example, for any significant spikes in negative sentiment, you can hover over the point on the graph to reveal the date the negative sentiment was recorded.
You can then refine your date range and consult the Sentiment Analysis report to understand which posts and topics contributed the high negative sentiment levels.
